We are located south of the Landing, down the trail at the west end of the bridge. Look for a large knotty-pine sign with rustic lettering and an unmarked trail. Follow the directions on the sign to the Hall!  Please enjoy our Companion Park along the lake. Bring your fishing gear!  Refreshments available.

Bounty Help in conjunction with Onoir, Clan Snar, Rising Phoenix and Twilight Hall

Located in a tent outside the Adventurer's Guild in the Landing, members of Onoir, Clan Snar, Rising Phoenix, Twilight Hall and Willow Hall come together to assist all with Guild Bounty tasks.  Help to be provided with skinning, foraging herbs, gathering gems, locating lost children, as well as slaying bandits and critters! We will be providing spells and offering healing inside the tent.  Refreshments are available.  This event is held at 10 PM Elven on the first Feastday (Saturday) and third Feastday (Saturday) of each month.

Meeting minutes for Tilamaires, day 15 of the month Fashanos in the year 5112.

Members in Attendance: Nattor, Anta, Kizalia, LLanawin, Ranpalandil. Kupaka, Ruh on the amunet. 

Anta says, "We had our archery contest last night."

Anta says, "Two of the winners are sitting here."

Anta says, "On the 19th we have Ranger Roulette in Sylvarraend."

Anta says, "It's going to be bloody."

Anta says, "Right, so thats Bounty help here in the Landing on the 18th at 10PM elven and then Ranger Roulette in Sylvarraend on the 19th at 5PM elven."

Ruh: [Willow Hall] "Is the alliance with the Draughnuts set in stone already?"

Anta says, "So about the alliance invitation."

Anta says, "Sabreon has presented us with a treaty and Rasti has written the new article to our bylaws that would encompass the alliance."

Anta says, "Kizalia is going to send copies to all members along with the meeting minutes."

Anta says, "At the end of this meeting I will be setting up an offical house vote."

Anta says, "It will remain open for one week and will determine whether we will join the Alliance or not."

Ruh: [Willow Hall] "When can we voice our opionions on the subject? or will it go directly vote."

Anta: [Willow Hall] "We've been discussing this for two months now Ruh, You're free to speak up at any time."

Ranpalandil: [Willow Hall] "The Hall's forum might be a good place to discuss it."

Ranpalandil: [Willow Hall] "Yes, but reading the fine print might open up some discussion."

Anta: [Willow Hall] "What's on your mind?"

Ruh: [Willow Hall] "Well this is my take on it, and sorry I am not around enough to have voiced this before, They are a very militant group, and when they are on the hunt, they cause a lot of death to those not joined in their efforts. But are quick to help after death. They build building and outposts and build and build. We on the other hand leave nature alone, like our amazing annex in EN. They aren't very rangerly, as we are."

Ruh: [Willow Hall] "I know I'm not around or involved as much as I would like, but I had to put that out there."

Anta: [Willow Hall] "They are good concerns, thanks Ruh. Let’s address them."

Anta: [Willow Hall] "It's true that they are a very militant group and this was MY major concern when asked to join. I didn't want to force Willow Hall into a militia. The alliance has made it clear that Willow Hall is not expected to engage in any military action with them."

Ranpalandil: [Willow Hall] "Collateral damage from mass spells is something everyone should be more careful about, maybe that should be brought up to them."

Ruh: [Willow Hall] "Oh it has been, and they don't care."

Anta: [Willow Hall] "Our role within the alliance would be civil We would be working with the different groups in organizing events and the like."

Nattor: [Willow Hall] "Its not really the mass spells that kill people i don't think."

Kizalia says, "It's the swarm large groups create. But unfortunately, is their right to hunt in groups the same as any others."

Ranpalandil: [Willow Hall] "I know that the Drakes Vanguard and Natures Fury have had that problem in the past too."

Anta: [General] "Willow Hall has caused some scary swarms on house hunts."

Anta says, "Really any hunting party."

Ruh: [Willow Hall] "On occasion its not a regularity."

Ranpalandil: [Willow Hall] "Has far as buildings, they are a rapidly expanding group but I expect there is a limit to how much then can grow in any one place."

Ruh: [Willow Hall] "For me its what they stand for and what we stand for, in my eyes they just don't match up."

Anta: [Willow Hall] "And really how much they build does not affect Willow Hall. Each group that is part of the Alliance is autonomous. We are all different and we don't change to fit the Alliance and the alliance doesn't change to fit us."

Ruh: [Willow Hall] "3 buildings so far,"

Llanawin: [Willow Hall] "Which brings forth a good question, Ran. If they are set on rapidly expanding, what are their intentions with us."

Ranpalandil: [Willow Hall] "I think they are looking to us a a contact on the west side of the mountains."

Llanawin: [Willow Hall] "In my opinion, I believe we are just a stepping stone."

Ranpalandil: [Willow Hall] "They are looking to expand their membership here too."

Nattor: [Willow Hall] "We couldn't possibly be a stepping stone to anything, we already know they are intending to join the CHE if possible."

Anta: [Willow Hall] "I feel it would be unfair to fault a group for wishing to expand. We ourselves, wish to expand all the time."

Ranpalandil: [Willow Hall] "We have a presence in every reach of Elanthia."

Ruh: [Willow Hall] "Not in the same way."

Anta: [Willow Hall] "I'm unclear what your concern is Ruh."

Ruh: [Willow Hall] "Their way is so different from ours."

Ruh: [Willow Hall] "Its the whole militant aspect, the whole all or none way they are."

Ruh: [Willow Hall] "Its the whole "they are there to help people" yet cause so much death if not joined to them."

Ruh: [Willow Hall] "In a nut shell."

Anta: [Willow Hall] "I've addressed the militant issue already. There are other facets to the alliance you may not be aware of. Did you know that they've held several events in conjunction with us?"

Kizalia: [Willow Hall] "But to be clear, it's the Alliance we're joining, which is comprised of many groups, some not at all militant - not the House Dreadnaughts themselves."

Anta: [Willow Hall] "That is an important clarification there,"

Ranpalandil: [Willow Hall] "Maybe we should have a look at the terms of the treaty and then discuss concerns in the Willow Hall forum."

Anta: [Willow Hall] "Lets discuss the terms of the treaty right now."

Ruh: [Willow Hall] "Who heads the alliance?"

Kizalia: [Willow Hall] "All groups have an equal say once joined in the Alliance."

Ranpalandil: [Willow Hall] "I think each member of the allience has representative."

Anta: [Willow Hall] "The alliance proposes that Willow hall pledge: 1. To stand against racism in all forms and work to remove it."

Anta: [Willow Hall] "2. To aid in the defense of all Alliance territories. And by this, they mean that we merely not side with anyone meaning to do harm to the lands."

Llanawin: [Willow Hall] "As an equal representative we would also share equal responsibility in anything the Alliance does."

Anta: [Willow Hall] "As stated previously we are able to opt out of any alliance issue that we wish not to get involved in."

Nattor: [Willow Hall] "We always have the option of opting out of any event."

Anta: [Willow Hall] "3. work together at festivals and other events to mutual benefit."

Llanawin: [Willow Hall] "That doesn't make any sense to me."

Speaking huskily to Anta, Llanawin asks, "Not the third part but the fact you can "opt" out of any event?"

Anta says, "Correct."

Anta asks, "How is that confusing?"

Speaking huskily to Anta, Llanawin says, "What kind of Alliance allows it's members to "opt" out of anything. That doesn't sound like an Alliance to me."

Anta says, "We are all individual entities. Every group has different opinions and views."

Speaking huskily to Anta, Llanawin says, "In my mind an Alliance would be for the future success of however many parties that share a common goal and vision."

Speaking to Llanawin, Nattor says, "If they didn't, it would be a dictatorship."

Ranpalandil says, "Well, since all members of the allience are atonomous they could opt out at any time whether it was in the treaty or not."

Speaking huskily to Ranpalandil, Llanawin says, "Even if one was to "opt" out of any event, responsibility will still trickle down."

Anta says, "There is no common goal or vision as you say. We help each other continuously. The civil groups help with organizing events, the militant groups will help with invasions."

Ruh: [Willow Hall] "The alliance's offical name is "Elanthian Dreadbaught Alliance" that in of itself speak volumes."

Anta: [Willow Hall] "You take issue with the founders name being in the title of the alliance?"

Ruh: [Willow Hall] ", we are putting a house in a subordinate postion to Saberon's."

Anta asks, "What responsibility are you evisioning trickling down?"

Kizalia says, "I think the Alliance was likened to a formal friendship between all groups involved, for support.”

Llanawin huskily says, "For support.."

Kizalia says, "Event support, aid as needed."

Llanawin huskily asks, "As part of the Civil Branch while they speak of our duties to run events and festivals, an unwritten thought could be... To cleanup whatever wake they manage to leave?"

Speaking to Kizalia, Ranpalandil says, "Although we could have that without a formal alliance."

Llanawin huskily asks, "If one group was to step on the toes of another outside the Alliance, what would our obligations entitle us to do?"

Nattor says, "Thats just irrational, that would be like judging Willow Hall soley on my actions."

Llanawin huskily says, "I feel a formal or informal friendship would be much better than entering into any alliance."

Anta says, "The alliance is a formal friendship."

Anta says, "Nothing more."

Llanawin huskily says, "Proceed.. The decisions have obviously been made."

Anta says, "If that were the case we wouldn't be having a vote."

Kizalia says, "No decision has been made."

Anta says, "We are trying to air concerns and talk through them."

Anta says, "However it seems that personal bias are preventing you and Ruh it seems from listening to the facts."

Anta: [Willow Hall] "It would appear you are uneducated on what this joining with the alliance entails Ruh. I'm going to urge you to reread the discussions we've had prior."

Speaking to Anta, Ranpalandil says, "They are entitled to a different option."

Llanawin huskily says, "Then continue, I don't have anything else to say."

Anta says, "Opinion is one thing These are claims of conspiracy and subjugation that frankly, I don't know how to respond to."

Ruh: [Willow Hall] "I just wanted to voice my opinon and I have."

Anta: [Willow Hall] "That being said. I believe all of the pertinent facts speak for themselves. The rest of the treaty and the article for the bylaws will be sent to all members. I urge everyone to read them over carefully before making your decision. We will choose as the hall thinks best."

Kizalia says, "Just a reminder that the membership drive event is at the end of next month."

Anta says, "Ohnus has donated multiple weapons and such to be raffled off."

Anta says, "We have games planned every day as well."

Anta says, "Oh and the cobbling table was approved."

Anta says, "Our last month's prize closet items were released."

Anta says, "So if anyone sees Phever or Rasti, we have some of their designs I'd like to award them."

Anta says, "I'll wait for Rasti to give the official report on our funds."

Anta says, "But we've got 331985594 silvers."

Anta says, "So.. we're not poor."

Kizalia says, "Also, if anyone wants to volunteer to host or help with events during the drive next month, let an officer know."

Ranpalandil says, "If anyone wants to donate anything for the shop give it to me or Anta."

Anta says, "We could certainly use the help for the events."

Ranpalandil says, "If you want a class on any rangerly skills just let me know what you would like."

Ranpalandil says, "We could maybe treat some armor."

Speaking to Anta, Ranpalandil asks, "So you want a foraging class and an time we treat armour?"

Anta says, "If you're up to it, yes."

Ranpalandil says, "I think I can manage that."

Anta then adjourned the meeting.
